Himalayan pink salt isn't any normal salt. Instructions for use for Bathing
Dissolve salt in a bath of approx 37C.
Relax and soak for 20 minutes or so.
For detoxifying bathing use up to 500g of salt per regular sized bath.
Use 3 times per week for 2 weeks, then when needed.
For general wellbeing use approx 100g-200g per regular sized bath.
The book 'Salt & Water' by Dr Barbara Hendel claims that a 30 minute soak in a bath filled with 1kg of Himalayan Salt has the same detoxing effect as a three day fast.
